Between Election Day 2020 and Inauguration Day, I traveled the country from New England to El Paso, Texas to better understand the state of the union. I found a nation less divided than we think when it comes to the common purpose of daily life, but a country that seems to be living multiple, competing realities, when it comes to public affairs and politics.
