Lucille's

On Route 66 in Hydro, Oklahoma, there’s a vintage gas station and motel preserved for history.

It was owned and operated by Lucille Hamon until she died in 2000. It is no longer in operation, but people double back on the service road next to the main highway all day long to take a closer look and a few pictures.

The two-story station was originally built in 1929 and has probably never been in better condition that it is right now.
