From east to west, the United States spans about 3,000 miles and at both ends and all through the middle you will find lots of people, living different lives and lifestyles, and many have strong views on the issues of the day.

As the miles fly by the car window, the scenery shows you how slow moving progress really is. Just like your own hometown, things change very slowly. During the Trump presidency, historians and other observers, often quoted the phrase that we are moving toward “a more perfect union.” The work is never done. For every step forward there is often at least one step back. It is easy to see when you decide to stop and look.
