Archipelago
The tiny nation of the Faroe Islands is in the North Atlantic, between Iceland and Scotland.
Only 50,000 people live there, most making their living from the fishing industry. Like Iceland, the islands in this archipelago were formed as the result of volcanic eruptions, but unlike Iceland, most of what has been left behind is lush and green.
